A downloadable asset pack for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android

Yoyogames decided to put the new feature (filters) behind a paywall, to push perpetual license owners to subscribe, even tho we already paid for the software... not cool...

I decided to set them free and make them available to everyone in a different form, objects!

The package contains a good selection of the original filters, and a bonus (chromatic aberration), with objects already setup, that just have to drop into an object layer above everything else except GUI and take a look at the variable declarations tab to tweak the effects.

Enjoy the schackle free shaders and happy developping.

my sprites are squashed wierdly for some reason please help me!!

i placed one in an instance layer, and its working great-- only it's not covering the entirety of the room. im assuming its got the wrong room size, but i'm not sure where to change it. never worked with shaders before so i'm nervous to poke around under the hood hehe.

that aside-- thank you so much for doing this. this is seriously incredibly modular and fantastic. i was so upset when i learned i wouldnt be able to use the fx feature but this is just game changing.

Hi, did you manage resolve the problem?

The stackable filters are drawn in the normal draw call at camera coordinates, the non stackable are drawn in the GUI draw calls and they disable auto drawing of the application surface.

Could you give me some details about what effect isn't working properly?

Hey, in gms2, you wanna go to "Tools/import local package" select the package, click ok, and add the files in the import window that will open.

Thanks a lot man !

are the shaders themselves usable on individual objects?
